Dear St Philip's Families, The infants started our Holy Week celebrations with their Palm Sunday Liturgy. They retold the story of 'The Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem' and sang beautifully. It was wonderful to be joined by so many family members too. On Thursday afternoon, Year 6 will lead us through the Stations of the Cross which is always a very thoughtful and reflective service. Dear St Philip's Families, The weeks are flying by and the children have been busy learning through a range of exciting activities. Lent "The purpose of our mission: to identify the material and immaterial needs of the people and try to meet them as we can… It is love of others, as our Lord preached." Pope Francis. It has been a busy time in school as we start our Lenten Journey. The Children have all made their Lenten Promises and have been given Lenten Calendars to bring home, which they can refer to daily. These have come from Mission Together, who we are supporting as a school during our Lenten journey. Continue reading
