The end of the summer term is always very busy and this year is no exception!   Trips and visitors   Last week, Year 6 had a fabulous time on their trip to France. They practised their language skills and enjoyed spending time with their French friends. The children behaved impeccably and were a real credit to St Philip's.  A big thank you to all the adults who helped with this trip as there is no way it could take place without their support. Dear St Philip's Families, I hope you all had a lovely half term and managed to enjoy some sunshine. St Philip's Day On the 26th May we celebrated St Philip's Day with a Parish Mass and a picnic for the children. The children enjoyed learning about St Philip and we were very pleased to receive a lovely card from Bishop Richard wishing us an enjoyable day. Continue reading

Dear St Philip's Families, Sports news Year 3 and 4 took part in the first stage of 'The Road to Eastbourne' Tennis competition. We entered two teams; both teams played brilliantly and I am very pleased to say that one of our teams won the event. They will be travelling to the Weald tennis club on 7th June to represent the Wealden area in the next stage of the competition. Many congratulations to Alex, Aiden, Henry, Ollie, Dylan, Erin, Annabelle and Ava Grace. I am sure you will join me in wishing them good luck for the next stage. Continue reading

Dear St Philip's Families, The children have been busy working hard and there is a very purposeful atmosphere in the school. Catholic Life It was a joy to attend the First Holy Communion of many of our children last week. There was a wonderful atmosphere and the children were so happy.
