Dear St Philip’s Families,
We are nearly at the end of another academic year. It has been great to return to a more normal rhythm of school life after two years of disruption. We have, as ever, been very busy at St Philip’s and have lots of news.
The 29th June was the feast of St Peter and St Paul, a Holy Day of Obligation. We marked this occasion with a Mass celebrated with the community. The children were praised by everyone for their wonderful behaviour and beautiful singing.
Teaching and Learning
All the children got to meet their new teachers during our class change over, yesterday. We were joined by our new Reception children and Miss Shaddick, our new Y1 teacher. It was lovely to see how well everyone settled into their new classrooms.
Reports will be sent home on Tuesday. Please remember to return your reports comment sheet before the end of term. If you have any queries about your child’s report, please email the office to arrange a conversation with the class teacher.
