Dear St Philip’s Families,
The end of the summer term is always an incredibly busy time in school. We have had a multitude of events with still more to come!
Year 6 attended the Good Shepherd Liturgy last week. This is an annual celebration of our Catholic schools in the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. It was an uplifting and joyous occasion. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t good for the picnic in the grounds of Worth this year, but a lovely time was still had by all.
The 29th June is the feast of St Peter and St Paul. The Bishops’ Conference has moved any Holy Days of Obligation that fall on a Saturday to the Sunday. We marked this occasion with a Mass to celebrate our First Holy Communion children. It was wonderful to see the children in their Communion outfits again and to welcome so many family members to share this occasion with the school community.
