Dear St Philip’s Families,
I hope you all had an enjoyable half term and managed to survive the storms without too much damage. We have sustained some damage to our roof and gained the roof from the council buildings in our forest area! Luckily, Mr Marsh was able to make the forest area safe to use and our builders are prioritising our roof for repair.

Pope Francis based his Message for Lent 2022 on a passage from St Paul’s Letter to the Galatians, “Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all” (6:9-10). Ash Wednesday, which marks the start of Lent, is next Wednesday 2nd March. Children will bring home their Lenten Calendars and we are hoping the Mission Together Collection boxes will arrive soon. This Year we are raising money for ‘Together in Malawi’.
