Dear St Philip’s Families,
It has been lovely to welcome back all of our children into school. It feels wonderfully busy and it’s great to have the buzz of enthusiasm and excitement in the building again!
Lent is traditionally a less busy time in the school year with less events and celebrations. It is a chance for reflection and waiting, continuing our journey towards the joyous celebration of Easter. Once again, we find ourselves in school in Holy Week. We will be filming our liturgies for Palm Sunday and Stations of the Cross this year, as we are unable to invite you back into the school yet.
Many thanks to Mr Matheson for planting some new trees for us on the field. We recently lost several trees due to damage and disease and it is wonderful that we have been able to replace them. We have a line of trees that will eventually provide us with some shade for sports day and a small blossom garden by the forest area. I’m sure they will bring joy to all for many years to come.
